Thank you for considering a donation to Emergent Justice. We have two different funds for you to choose from. Their differences and links to make a secure donation to each are below.
Emergent Justice – Election and Issue Advocacy
Donations to Emergent Justice Election and Issue Advocacy allow us to hold elected officials accountable and promote ways to make change in our communities. Examples include helping pass or defeat a piece of legislation related to our issues, fighting against partisan voter suppression laws and endorsing a political candidate. Emergent Justice c4 Election and Issue Advocacy Fund is a fiscally sponsored fund of Tides Advocacy, a 501(c)(4) organization. Contributions to this fund are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
Transformative Equity Fund
Donations to the Emergent Justice Transformative Equity Fund allows us to do work that focuses on specific issues and not on an election or candidate. Some examples of this work include Participatory Defense HUB, get-out-the-vote, voter registration, and education about issues that impact our community. Emergent Justice’s Transformative Equity Fund is a fiscally sponsored fund of Tides Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.
