Emergent Justice’s Research Volunteers help us achieve our mission by researching the issues we work on, questions posed by the community, gathering information to support our campaigns, and helping everyone better understand various processes in the criminal legal system.
Research projects are assigned to volunteers by the Emergent Justice Team. We ask that research volunteers:
- commit to volunteering 3 – 5 hours per week
- understand basic research/information gathering techniques
- have access to a stable internet/wifi
- be able to work independently, meet deadlines and be detail oriented
- be willing to sign a Volunteer Agreement
